Privacy Policy

How SteppersLife handles personal information.

Last updated April 28, 2026. This summary is written to be readable and practical for users moving between the main site, SteppersLife subdomains, and the SteppersLife mobile apps for iOS and Android.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers personal information collected through the SteppersLife website at stepperslife.com AND through the SteppersLife mobile applications for iOS and Android.

It applies to visitors, customers, organizers, instructors, vendors, restaurateurs, service providers, DJs, and support users who interact with the platform across web and mobile.

2. Information we collect

We collect account details such as your name, email address, sign-in method, and profile preferences when you create or use an account.

We also collect transaction and activity information tied to the products you use, such as ticket orders, class enrollments, food orders, marketplace purchases, provider requests, and radio submissions or scheduling data when available.

Technical information such as device type, browser, approximate location, and page usage may be collected to keep the platform stable and improve performance.

3. How we use information

We use your information to authenticate you, complete purchases, deliver confirmations, support providers, and make shared account access work across supported subdomains and the mobile apps.

We may also use platform data to prevent abuse, investigate outages, understand usage patterns, and improve features that are still rolling out.

4. Sharing and processors

SteppersLife does not sell your personal information. We share information only when it is needed to run the service, such as with payment processors, email providers, analytics tooling, hosting infrastructure, and the organizer or provider responsible for your purchase.

When you buy from an organizer, instructor, vendor, restaurateur, or provider, the operational details of that purchase may be shared with them so they can fulfill it.

5. Cookies and account continuity

SteppersLife uses cookies and related storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support cross-subdomain account continuity where configured.

If you block essential cookies, some authenticated routes and checkout flows may not work correctly.

6. Your choices

You can update account details inside supported dashboards, unsubscribe from non-essential emails, and contact support if you need help correcting or removing information.

If you need a purchase-specific change, such as a refund or order correction, the request may need to be handled inside the relevant portal or by the provider who sold it.

7. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

We keep information only as long as needed for operations, records, legal obligations, dispute handling, and platform safety.

8. Apple App Privacy disclosures

The SteppersLife iOS app discloses the following data practices to align with Apple’s App Privacy nutrition label categories.

Data Linked to You

These data types are linked to your identity:

  • Account info (name, email)
  • Profile info (photo, bio, location preferences)
  • User-generated content (posts, messages, event RSVPs)

Data Not Linked to You

These data types are collected but not linked to your identity:

  • Diagnostics and crash reports
  • Aggregate analytics

Data Used to Track You

We do not use any data to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Sign in with Apple

If you choose to sign in to SteppersLife with your Apple ID, you authorize Apple to share your name and a real or relayed email address with us. We use this only to create and maintain your account. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email” relay, we send all account email through that relay address and never see your underlying address.

If you delete your SteppersLife account — in-app or via stepperslife.com/account/delete — we revoke our authorization to use your Apple ID with our service per Apple’s required token revocation process (developer.apple.com/documentation/sign_in_with_apple/revoke_tokens). After revocation, you may need to re-authorize SteppersLife if you ever choose to sign in again.

9. Google Play Data Safety disclosures

The SteppersLife Android app discloses the following per Google Play’s Data Safety taxonomy. “Encrypted” refers to data encrypted in transit. “Deletable” means a user-initiated deletion mechanism is available.

You can delete your SteppersLife account and associated personal data through either of these paths:

Account and associated personal data are deleted within 30 days of a confirmed request. You will receive an email confirmation when the deletion completes.

If you signed in with Apple, your Sign in with Apple credentials are also revoked as part of deletion via Apple’s required token revocation process — see Section 8 (Apple App Privacy disclosures) for details.

We may retain limited information for legal compliance, fraud prevention, and platform safety — for example, records of abuse reports or transaction records required by tax and consumer-protection law. These exceptions are listed in Section 7 (Security and retention).

11. Contact
